COVENTRY Remote EVC Training
Multiple dates and times
Online, Zoom
Description
THIS EVENT IS ONLY OPEN TO COVENTRY SCHOOLS WHO PURCHASE THE ADVICE SLA
This Coventry City Council Official EVC training is principally delivered using a blended approach. Since March 2020, we have provided our EVC training via a two-part remote blended approach; this was originally out of necessity; however, the feedback we have received is this is the preferable method for our schools.
It enables:
- attendees to save time travelling;
- attendees to reduce their carbon impact;
- schools to reduce costs on supply cover;
- attendees to feel safe by not mixing with people outside of their immediate circle, reducing the risks associated with COVID;
- allows us to be flexible with cancellation or postponement due to last-minute issues arising in schools.
Our programme is made up of two parts.
Part 1 is a 3-hour self-guided e-learning course, which can be undertaken at a time to suit the attendee.
Part 2 is a 3-hour live remote facilitated session run by one of our experienced trainers. (You must have a working camera and microphone. (3 hours))
The course will enable EVCs to plan and manage their schools’ educational visits and off-site activities in line with National Guidance and current good practice and thus help fulfil their Health & Safety obligations.
