Initial EVC Training is also recommended for EVCs who have not completed EVC Training within the last three years. Experienced EVCs looking to refresh their training on the recommended three-yearly cycle are encouraged to choose EVC Revalidation Training
Courses run weekly throughout the school year and are delivered live online giving you maximum choice and flexibility.
How is Initial EVC Training delivered?
Initial EVC Training is made up of two parts, totalling 6 hours of guided learning.
Part 1: 3 hours. Self-guided e-learning introducing you to core content which will be explored in more detail in the live training. Part 1must be completed before part 2.
Part 2: 3 hours. Live facilitated training is delivered in a small group online via Zoom. Due to IQA and EQA requirements, you must have a working camera and microphone. The session is made up of delivery, discussion and break out rooms and is 3 hours.
Our live online training courses are taught in real-time, allowing you to have a direct dialogue with our experts, a high level of interaction with the other attendees and lots of opportunities to ask questions - just as you would in a real classroom.
All you will need is an internet-connected computer, laptop or tablet with a webcam and microphone.
Before you book, you can check that you meet the Zoom system requirements and run a diagnostic test to ensure the software is compatible with your firewall settings.
